Kuvings Evo280

The Kuvings EVO820, also called the Kuvings Evolution. Now Kuvings kind of invented the wide-mouth vertical several years back.

That first model, it was just called the Whole Slow Juicer. It was pretty good. The biggest feature was the wide feeding tube.Otherwise it was OK.

Kuvings Juicer EVO820

A few years later they made a lot of refinements and they created the Whole Slow Juicer Elite which is a really good juicer still available now.And just this year they made the third generation of their wide mouth vertical, and that’s the Evolution. And that’s a good name for it.

It’s got this textured finish on the front. It just has a real solid, premium feel. Something we really like.

They’ve reinforced the juicing chamber. Made it a little stronger. There’s more attachment points on it.And besides that, it uses the same tecchnology as their second generation juicer.

The 240 watt motor, big auger. These wide-mouth verticals, these things tend to use brute force to make your juice. It’s because they have a big opening you can put a lot of things in there: big pieces of carrot, in some cases whole apples, smaller ones, and they have these big 240 watt motors, massive augers, and they just really push hard.

The big plus on something like this is it’s fast. So that’s really the biggest benefit of something like this, a wide mouth, is the speed. On the other hand, the juice they make does tend to be slightly pulpier. If you like pulp in your juice that’s no problem. You can also always strain out the pulp.

Juicing is certainly an acquired habit due to the equipment and produce required. So, if you’re thinking about getting into juicing but don’t really know how to go about it, these tips contained below will shed some light on the subject. Follow the suggestions below, and make healthy beverages that are packed with flavor right in your own kitchen.

Remove pits and seeds from your fruits before juicing them. Hard pits, like those found in peaches, will leave unpleasant chunks in your juice and can damage the blades of your juicer. Other seeds, such as apple seeds, may actually contain chemicals that are harmful. It’s best to remove them beforehand.

One good way to up the health benefits of any juice you make is to add a darker green vegetable to the mix. Use the juice from vegetables, such as spinach, broccoli or Swiss chard, for about fifty to seventy-five percent of your drink to give the boost of nutrition. Use fruit juices for the remainder of your drink to enhance the sweetness and taste.

Juice your softer fruits first and then send down your harder items. The hard textured fruit will do the job of cleaning the fruit that was left behind by the softer items. This means more juice for you and less clean up as well. Follow that trick and you’ll usually get the maximum amount of juice in your glass, not left in the juicer.

Juicing can be expensive- if you’re making a few wheat shots a day as well as larger fruit and vegetable juices, expect your grocery bill to pile up. One way to reduce costs is to use primarily carrots, which are very inexpensive compared to the amount of juice they produce.

Be consistent and do a little juicing everyday. The more you do, the more you’ll want to juice and gradually, you’ll make juicing a bigger part of your day. If you make juicing an infrequent occurrence, not only will you get less nutritional benefit but you’ll also lose the will to keep going.

Juicing

Juicing your vegetables is a great way to get the vitamins and minerals that are in them without having to actually take the time to prepare them. Many people simply do not have the time to prepare a gourmet meal each and every night. Juicing vegetables allows you to quickly and easily get the most nutrients out of them that you possibly can without spending a ton of time on them.

Juicing Recipes

When it comes to juicing, one thing that you want to keep in mind is to be sure to check online for free juicing recipes. This will benefit you by either making sure that you are making your juice correctly and also giving you ideas how to make different kinds of flavors.

Juicing Diet

If you’re going to start a juicing diet, it may be helpful to start with a few days of eating primarily fruits and vegetables before going over to all-juice. This helps reduce dependence on sugar, flour, and other common diet staples that can make a juice diet difficult to swallow.

Juicing For Health

When juicing for the health benefits, look to using ingredients from greens such as: broccoli, chard, parsley, kale and spinach for the greatest effectiveness. Use these vegetables often when juicing, with over a 50% concentration. Use other juices for flavoring. Juice made out of greens are much more healthy than fruit juice, which can contains a lot of sugar.

Juicing For Weight Loss

When juicing for weight loss, it is important to eat the pulp, too. You can mix it with non-fat yogurt, or actually pour it into your glass of juice. Some people like to grab a spoon and eat it out of a bowl, sometimes sprinkling on a little cinnamon to add a diabetes-beating punch!

Juicing Machines

To help you decide which juicer to buy read your customer reviews of popular models before choosing the machine that is best for you. If you are on a social network, ask your friends if they have any input on juicing machines. Word of mouth is one of the best research methods available.

If you want to be successful at juicing in order to maintain a healthier lifestyle, then be sure to keep your juicing machine on your counter or in sight all the time. If you keep a certain area designated as the “juicing area,” then you will be more likely to use it as it is intended.

If you juice dark, leafy greens like spinach, add some cucumber. Leafy greens have a very strong, undesirable flavor. They’re quite bitter on their own. Cucumber juice has a fresh taste, masking the taste of dark vegetables somewhat and giving the juice it a bright kick. Cucumbers also contain several key nutrients, especially if they are unpeeled.

Juicing At Home

Juicing gives your body the freshest nutrients but it is also a good way to control blood glucose levels. Juice from stores contain a lot of carbohydrates which increase your BGL because carbohydrates turn to glucose. Juicing at home gives you control over what goes into your body.

Juicing Apples

Detoxing the colon is fun and easy by juicing! Apples and lemons are an excellent choice for a detox recipe as they both are known to help cleanse the colon. You can also include beets, carrots, celery, ginger, and radishes. Almost any juice you make will help to heal your body, so feel free to use whatever items you really enjoy.

Juicing Bananas

Pay close attention to which vegetables and fruits your juicer recommends. There are some fruits and vegetables that do not lend themselves well to juicing. Bananas are a great example of this, as they tend to thicken a mixture when added, which is why they are used in smoothies regularly. Blend these types of produce, as opposed to juicing, for best results.

You’ll also be able to save by reducing waste by making just enough to suit your needs. Follow these great tips and start juicing today.
